The software on the other hand is something I don’t trust. Well the hardware is OK pan, tilt, night vision, build quality is fine. If I may post the most pressing query again here, is this camera supposed to accept PoE? I questioned Wanscam support and received the reply that it did but I haven't been able to power it using PoE and there's nothing re PoE in the specs or manual. My girlfriend decided she wanted a Wireless IP camera to show off her puppies. The camera model JW0004 that we tested is a little old and can only support 640x480 image recording. In general, we believe Wansview is better suited for cloud recording than Wanscam.
